We're now in the final countdown to Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
We still need to prepare daily menus, in addition to planning for those special holiday meals. Often finger foods and simple dishes fill the bill. Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Quiche Lorraine, old standbys, offer tasty bites with not a lot of effort.
The recipe below for Sweet and Sour Meatballs is made with onion soup mix, evaporated milk, ketchup, bread crumbs and ground beef. They are served in a sauce made with peach preserves and soy sauce and take about 20 minutes to prepare.
