Brothers living in Anderson Township and Price Hill have been arrested on charges of managing a heroin distribution ring in Over-the-Rhine.
Tyewand Smith, 28, of Pedretti Road in Price Hill, and Michael Smith, 24, of Woodcroft Avenue in Anderson Township, were charged Thursday with drug trafficking and possession. Tyewand Smith was also charged with possession of weapons while under disability.
The arrests were made as a result of a joint investigation by Cincinnati police and the regional narcotics unit.
Police said the Smith brothers managed daily heroin sales to customers in Over-the-Rhine and used profits ...
