When Cincinnati's Suzanne Farrell receives one of the Kennedy Center Honors Sunday at the Washington, D.C., arts center, she won't get lost finding the place.
"Naturally, I was surprised and shocked" to learn of the honor, said Farrell, who now lives in Washington, D.C.
"I danced at the very first Kennedy Center Honors when Mr. Balanchine, Richard Rodgers, Artur Rubenstein, Marian Anderson and Fred Astaire got it."
