Northern Kentucky's tourism industry is expected to hit the daily double when the World Equestrian Games come to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington in 2010.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, airlines, hotels, restaurants, rental car businesses, gas stations and entertainment attractions all stand to benefit, according to horse park and local tourism officials.
"There will absolutely be a big impact in Northern Kentucky," said horse park spokeswoman Lisa Jackson.
"It's going to be a real boon for our area," added Tom Caradonio, president of the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau.
