Dec. 22--Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News is moving a mandatory kill for four stories that may contain plagiarized material. The stories are slugged:
--BK-HOSPITAL-20050818 filed for Aug. 18, 2005;
--BK-MEDICARE-DRUGS-20050812 filed for Aug. 12, 2005;
--BK-FLU-SHOTS-20050815 filed for Aug. 15, 2005; and
--BK-NURSE-SHORTAGE-20050802 filed for Aug. 02, 2005.
In a Nov. 16 article, the Bakersfield Californian said, "Before she was fired Oct. 17 for plagiarism and fabrication, former Bakersfield Californian reporter Nada Behziz signed her name to 96 stories." As a ...
