ISLAMABAD, December 22(PPI): A full bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a constitutional petition filed by Commissioner Wealth Tax Islamabad seeking suspension of Sindh High Court's judgment, in which it had declared the petition of Wealth Tax imposing Rs 2. 5 million taxes on a residential apartment of Ms Naheed Khan, Political Secretary to the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, as time barred.Counsel for Ms Naheed Khan Dr Babar Awan submitted before the full bench of the Supreme Court comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar and Justice M Javed Buttar, that Rs 2. 5 million wealth tax imposed by the Wealth Tax ...
