Dec. 22--Neil Rackers was going to the Pro Bowl as the NFC's kicker. That was a given.
So the suspense for the Cardinals Wednesday -- when the Pro Bowl announcement was made -- was waiting to see which wide receiver got in, after both Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin posted Hawaiiworthy seasons.
Fitzgerald was picked.
Boldin wasn't.
And the sentiment of the day was crystallized by Rackers.
"I think," Rackers said, "that Larry and Anquan should be going together." That, with the Cards stumbling to a 4-10 record, was probably never going to happen.
