COVENTRY'S Steve Hine has achieved his lifetime's ambition by qualifying for the World Championships.
Since his switch to the PDC, Hine has had a dream year, winning his first major tournament and taking the stage live for a match in the UK Open.
Now he has crowned it all by staking a place in the televised finals of the world championships at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet.
"It's a dream come true," said Hine. "To play there live and walk through the crowd at the start of the match as they always do is something I've always wanted to do.
