Tariffs for residential customers for calls from fixed lines to mobile phones are to be cut from 2 January 2006 by France Telecom, a telecomms company based in Paris, France.

According to France Telecom, the price reduction will be up to 28% of the per-minute price paid by all residential customers. Calls made by customers to its mobile section Orange, for example, will be reduced by 28% from the current price of EUR0.152 per minute to EUR0.109 per minute.
