CORAL GABLES, Fla. _ Despite his famous father, Joakim Noah never was very good at tennis.
"I'm terrible," Noah said Thursday night at the BankUnited Center. "I quit a long, long time ago."
And instead put his energies into basketball. Good move.
Noah, a sophomore power forward for fifth-ranked Florida, has grown to 6 feet 11 and 227 pounds. He is wiry strong, unselfish, a fierce defender and rebounder.
He is one of the major reasons Billy Donovan's Gators are off to an 11-0 start, best in school history.
