I know lots of young Catholics who would think it absurd beyond words to suggest that Catholics and Jews could not gather in the same worship space* It would be unthinkable to them that Catholics and Jews would never exchange visits to a church or a synagogue.
Those of my generation, however, educated in Catholic schools during the 1950s and '60s, know that prior to the reforms of the Second Vatican Council of the 1960s and the promulgation of the groundbreaking council document Nostra Aetate, it was unthinkable that Jews and Catholics would gather under the same roof.
