The German toy company Steiff produced the "Peggy" penguin from 1956 to 1975 in five sizes (4" to 19"H). This 1950s example (13"H) has a plush mohair body, a felt beak and feet, and glass eyes. The tag, label, and button, usually affixed to the chest, are missing.
