Honda Motor Co., meanwhile, is taking a different approach to global warming. The company will start mass producing solar cells in 2007, it said last week.
Japan's third-biggest automaker said in a statement that it will build a factory for solar cells on the site of a car plant on the Japanese island of Kyushu, Reuters reported.
