What is graphic design? How does it differ from art? If you're creative and think you might want to pursue a career in art, would graphic design be the way to go?
One way to learn more about design, of course, is in school. But another way is to learn from someone who has experience in the field and can individually share that knowledge with you. This person is called a mentor.
A mentor can be a teacher, a coach, an older sibling or anyone that you enjoy spending time with. Be sure to continually involve this person in your life. As you get older, your mentor's guidance and advice will become even more invaluable.
