Where did you go? Ireland
When did you go? September, 2003. It was a birthday trip for my mother-in-law, who turned 75. Her daughter and myself were her travel companions.
For how long? We were there seven days.
How long did it take to get there? We drove five hours to Boston, then flew five hours to Shannon, Ireland.
How much was your flight? Air, rental car, bed and breakfast inns, food and souvenirs ran about $2,000.
How did you get around? We got around in a rented Lexus. They drive on the left in Ireland and roads are very narrow near the sea.
