Dec. 31--When 2006 arrives, some folks will be partying. Some will be watching televised celebrations, and others will be asleep.
Others will be in church, taking part in the Watch Night services that are a tradition for some local congregations.
The services provide an opportunity for believers to spend New Year's Eve with members of their church family.
People who attend the serv ices sing, listen to preaching, pray and talk about blessings they enjoyed during 2005. They may also talk about their spiri tual goals for 2006.
