New York's Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts expands into the ultimate mixed-use building.

At the heart of New York's cultural world stands Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Built in the 1960s, the complex's buildings are home to some of the city's finest cultural institutions, including the New York City Ballet, the Metropolitan Opera and the New York Philharmonic. The center's latest addition is the Samuel B. and David Rose Building, designed by Davis Brody & Associates, which houses a variety of functions for some of the existing occupants of Lincoln Center, as well as a branch of the New York City Public Library and a fire station.
