BETHESDA, Md.--Home delivery of prescriptions, a concept common among neighborhood drug stores years ago, is regaining popularity.
However, whereas years ago the bulk of home deliveries were provided by the individual stores, today's movement is led by Pharmacy Express, a company based here. The firm, a division of Shoppers Express, manages a program in which consumers order prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, and other items from a catalog.
