The Denver police corporal, along with 119 of his colleagues, pledged Monday to beat the bulge during the department's fourth annual "Scales of Justice" weigh-in.
The 12-week program challenges police officers to shed some extra pounds hanging over their duty belts and aim for a healthier lifestyle.
