LAS VEGAS, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. , today announced a premium GPS navigation system for customers using Palm OS-based personal digital assistants (PDA) or smart phones with Bluetooth. This GPS package includes proven navigation software with feature-rich points of interest and Garmin's GPS 10(TM), a sensor that receives location data from the Global Positioning System (GPS) and transmits that information to mobile devices enabled with Bluetooth wireless technology. Garmin announced this Palm OS-based product at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas (booth #35920).
