The HP Photosmart 2575 follows the format of most multifunction devices (MFD), with a scanner sitting on top of the print unit.
While many MFDs are a little flimsy, the Photosmart 2575 is as sturdy as you would expect from such a well-respected printer manufacturer as HP.
Its Photosmart label indicates that it should be capable of acting as a photo printer as well as a scanner and copier, and it doesn't disappoint, with the ability to produce high-quality images in both black and white and colour. The results are certainly comparable with standalone printers, which don't come much cheaper.
