The state of the Philippines' animation industry is, in a word, animated. After all, creative Filipinos have always considered animation their strong suit.
The country's animators are in fact behind many of the world's animation productions, lending credence to the claim that the Philippines is "the animation hub of Asia".
"Many experienced Filipino animators are in all parts of the world, doing work with Fox Animation, Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney, Nickelodeon, Universal Studios, and Cartoon Network," reveals Marlyn Montano, president of the Animation Council of the Philippines and head of her own animation company, Holy Cow! Animation, Inc.
