Article: CITIC and Salco sign up: study for alumina smelter nearly complete.(China International Trust and Investment Corporation)

China International Trust & Investment Corporation (CITIC) was due to sign on 3 December the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the South Aluminium Corporation (Salco) smelter at Bandar Abbas. Salco says it is also close to concluding a study on an alumina plant next to the smelter, for which it will issue a tender early in 2006 (MEED 14:10:05).
