Jan. 4--LAKE WORTH -- Dan Hyatt is using his wallet to launch a one-man revolution.
In the latest chapter of the Lake Worth Utilities saga, Hyatt, a property manager for more than 30 Lake Worth businesses, is withholding $15,475 from the municipal utility for October and November electricity bills until city leaders come up with a way to lower rates.
While homeowners have been the utility's most vocal critics since October's surge in electricity costs, the soaring rates that followed lengthy power outages after Hurricane Wilma have hit local businesses and property managers especially hard.
