LAS VEGAS -- The NPD Group, a global provider of consumer and retail information and insights, announced it will offer regional sell thru information on the consumer electronics market to complement its existing information offerings. The service is slated to launch in summer 2006.

Regional data will allow NPD clients to enhance their sales, marketing and supply-chain management by providing information on what is selling, where and at what price for more than 50 DMA's and 9 Census regions. Using the NPD information, clients will be able to more precisely target customers and prospects, pinpoint over- or under-performing markets, and adjust strategy accordingly.
