COVENTRY man Gregory Peter Wheal has been branded the country's worst offender for stealing wild birds' eggs.
Police discovered 75 eggs in his latest haul when they searched his Longford home.
After hearing of his seven previous convictions, magistrates yesterday warned Wheal that he faced a jail sentence.
