Two of Eugene's most colorful and interesting citizens are coming home just in time for the holidays. Hard work, determination, some luck, and the efforts of many people working together with local governmental and service agencies made this possible.
Their story is an example of what real community is.
If you have spent any time in downtown Eugene, you've noticed a couple speeding around town in their motorized wheelchairs rigged for foul weather: rain covers, conspi- cuous, high-flying orange pennants and running lights always on for safety. Their names are Luther and Dorcas Beecroft.
