Heading the list of the world's largest music products makers is Yamaha Corporation, a diversified enterprise with a global reach, a well-known trademark, and annual revenue of $4.9 billion. At the other end of the rankings is Tycoon Music, a Thailand-based manufacturer specializing in hand percussion instruments. It's hard to imagine two more dissimilar enterprises. However, given the extraordinary diversity of the global music products industry, it is somewhat fitting that they bracket our annual Top 225 ranking.
