Whispering winds with a hint of yesteryear blow past the dining-room window as I gaze beyond the two very old rowan trees standing in solemn vigilance of the setting sun. Nestled between them is an old Silver Bush rose bush that in summer blooms the white roses with the dream of gold in their hearts.
