The sky looks like a soft gray quilt. Reminding me of something someone s sweet plump grandmother made, while the delicious scent of oatmeal and sugar cookies danced around the rocking chair she sat on. I imagine this lovely lady, a little round angel with hidden wings under her favorite brown cardigan. Mr. Cruickshank's, her ancient cat sits royally upon his favorite chair in the comer by the window. She looks at him, asking him to come over, but he, looks up at her and yawns; at the moment he can't be bothered by pesky humans. He is quite sleepy after last nights chase of the little mouse that has been a regular guest for about a month now.
