Czech brewery Budejovicky Budvar wins trademark dispute with US Anheuser-Busch in Finland
PRAGUE. JANUARY 6. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE -After nearly 10 years of legal battles, the Czech brewery Budejovicky Budvar (BB) has won a dispute against US rival Anheuser-Busch (AB) which will allow BB to use its trademark in Finland, opening the way for expansion on the Finish market, BB's press department announced Friday.
"In business terms, this decision is an important success for us. It will contribute to legal certainty and will lead to a further increase in our exports," BB's CEO Jiri Bocek said in a statement.
