Jan. 7--A Spokane Valley teenager arrested for possession of alcohol had a choice a take her chances in the juvenile court system or enter into a diversion program. "I went into the diversion program about a month ago, three days before my 18th birthday," said Shylah, whose last name is being withheld to protect her identity. "I'm really grateful that I got to join this program."
