Centre okays revival of three PSEs in WB involving Rs 442 cr
Kolkata, Jan 8 (PTI) In a major development, the Centre has approved the revival of three major Public Sector Enterprises in West Bengal -- Braithwaite, Bridge and Roof and BBJ Construction Company -- involving Rs 442 crore.
The Centre was also proposing revival of four more PSEs including Andrew Yule, Burn Standard, Hindustan Cables and Tyre Corporation of India involving over Rs 4,000 crore, Union Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Minister Santosh Mohan Deb told reporters after an hour-long meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee here.
