Somebody asked--maybe others want to know too:
* To get garden huckleberry seeds: Order anything from Burgess Seed & Plant Co., 905 Four Seasons Rd., Bloomington, IL 61701. They always send a free pack of garden huckleberry seeds with every order. I planted them one year -- they got huge and had a lot of fruit. We ended up not liking them, but that's for you to decide.
* Someone mentioned having a large green metallic beetle they couldn't identify. We have them too. Rodale's color handbook of garden insects has what I think it is: a fig beetle (not necessarily found on or around figs).
