Article: Pretty in love; Woody Allen's `Match Point' treads a familiar path of sexual obsession.(Arts and Lifestyle)(Movie Review)

Byline: JAMES VERNIERE

"Match Point."

Rated R. At AMC Fenway, Loews Boston Common and suburban theaters.

Grade: B+

Woody Allen once famously remarked, "The heart wants what it wants," to justify his own dubious behavior.

Clearly, he had another part of the anatomy in mind while writing "Match Point," his gripping but flawed film noir about, hmmm, sexual obsession and the perils of cheating.

How much you enjoy the film, a sort of modern-day rake's progress set in Londonmay depend on how much you enjoy gazing at co-stars Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.
