SAGANAKI is a national Greek dish, which is a hot cheese appetizer that can be baked, grilled or fried.
Every village and taverna in Greece has its own recipe. I've gone a bit further by adding the bacon.
Serve with a green salad, a bottle of retsina wine and loads of crusty white bread.
To cook
. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/gas mark 6.
. Lay out the bacon strips in an ovenproof dish. Add a splash of olive oil.
