Jan. 10--FREDERICK -- As far as Fort Detrick and DOD are concerned, a pizza shop on Thomas Johnson Drive has the right stuff.
And this is no cheesy accomplishment.
Rob Gim's Vocelli Pizza franchise is the first Frederick area eatery to be named an approved food source for Fort Detrick and the Department of Defense.
Vocelli Pizza is a national pizza company that offers franchise opportunities. A Vocelli's serves, among other food items, pizza, antipasti (appetizers), panini (subs), stromboli and insalatas (subs).
The Army, Navy and Air Force are military departments of the Defense Department.
