WOMEN still find it very difficult to land top jobs in Scotland, despite 30 years of antidiscrimination laws.
A report from the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) yesterday said the country was 'losing out on valuable talent'.
It claimed only the most determined female employees had fought their way to the top of the career ladder.
But critics denied the claims, saying the lack of women in senior positions was nothing to do with discrimination and reflected the fact that many preferred starting families.
