Nearly 50 years after his family bought property in west Eugene, Paul Lemmon is ready to sell the land, see it turned into a 64-home subdivision, and move his life elsewhere.
Lemmon last month submitted to the city preliminary plans for the Mel's Marina planned-unit development off Barger Drive. Under the proposal, several buildings currently on 7 acres of land owned by Lemmon would be torn down to allow residential construction on his property, which sits adjacent to an existing subdivision known as Michael's Landing.
