Jan. 11--VISALIA -- California Secretary of State Bruce McPherson said Tuesday he believed that Tulare County -- and the rest of the state -- would pass its first statewide test of the electronic voting system usage in the June primary election.
McPherson, who visited the Tulare County Elections Office to discuss voter outreach and voting systems, said the state continues to work toward compliance with the Help Americans Vote Act though the deadline for compliance passed Jan. 1.
