PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- New efforts to aid the thousands of California Indians who still live in abject poverty and a new task force aimed at providing better services to address problem gamblers were announced here by the chairman of the California Nations Indian Gaming Association (CNIGA).
The programs were announced Wednesday by Chairman Anthony Miranda in his State of the Tribal Nations address to nearly 900 attendees at the Western Indian Gaming Conference sponsored by CNIGA.
