The American Association of Public Welfare Attorneys (AAPWA), an APHSA affiliate organization for attorneys, just completed a successful 38th annual national training and continuing education conference in Providence, R.I.
AAPWA has established an award in memory of Tom Blazusiak, who passed away suddenly in May. Tom was president of AAPWA at the time of his death, and the award named in his memory was presented for the first time at the conference. John Kane, chief counsel at the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, received the Thomas J.
