THE VAST majority of motorists are unaware that their vehicles' brake fluid needs to be changed every two years and may be putting themselves in danger as a result.
Brake fluid deterioration could lead to brake fade or failure under heavy braking, but recent research carried out by Carparts-direct.co.uk reveals that 86 per cent of motorists do not check their brake fluid and ignore replacing it at the recommended intervals.
