The six-hospital Health Alliance made it clear Friday it does not believe Christ Hospital has any valid reason to withdraw from a partnership it helped create a little more than 10 years ago.
Christ --generally considered one of the best hospitals in the region and ranked as one of the best in the United States by U.S. News & World Report -- stunned the Health Alliance and the region's medical community Friday morning with the announcement it planned to withdraw from the Alliance "to further enhance its services and provide outstanding health care to Greater Cincinnati."
