WESTBOROUGH, Mass. -- USTA New England Section Breaks Record for Largest Total Tennis Participation Increase Since Study Began in 2002
USTA New England today announced that total tennis participation in the six-state New England section of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) has increased significantly over 2004, according to an annual survey conducted by the USTA and Tennis Industry Association (TIA). With an increase of 240,000, New England now has approximately 1.5 million tennis players as well as the highest one-year increase in total tennis participation since the annual survey began in 2002.
