ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Orlando Sentinel announced Sunday the launch of its fifth annual market-wide reading program. The One Book One Community(TM) selection for 2006 is Pam Munoz Ryan's "Esperanza Rising." The program runs from Sunday, January 15, through Sunday, February 26. The six- week program, part of the company's Reading by Nine literacy initiative, is designed to encourage Central Florida children -- and the adults in their lives -- to read the same book. Publix Supermarkets and Sabor are sponsoring this year's program. Radio Disney AM 990 and the Orange County Library System are partners.
