Jan. 19--Customers of Bright House Networks, Central Florida's largest cable provider, will see their monthly bills rise as much as $2 come March. Bright House, with more than 800,000 customers in nine Central Florida counties, says the increases cover the higher costs of programming.
The company's Digital Entertainment Pak, a 160-channel offering that most customers select, will rise 2.7 percent, or $1.50, to $56.99 a month. The price of its 74-channel standard service will rise 4.3 percent, or $2 a month, to $48.49. Basic service, which includes 18 local channels, will go up 5 percent to $18.85. For consumers who are ...
