Concerned organisations and individuals have urgently petitioned the Indian government. Their plea is to cease discrimination against community members, community-based organisations, non-government organisations and other civil society groups, operating in the interest of the people of India and on a not-for-profit basis. They assert their right to set up, manage, and run their own Community Radio Stations (CRS) in the country.
