Great Ormond Street Hospital has announced details of the first official follow-up to JM Barrie's story of Peter Pan.

The London-based hospital was reportedly bequeathed the rights to Barrie's story and will use the new book to raise much-needed funds.

The sequel to Barrie's book has been written by Geraldine McCaughrean and is scheduled to be published later this year. The book's title is to be announced on Friday (20 January).
