ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Richard G. Averitt, chairman and CEO of Raymond James Financial Services. Inc. (RJFS), member NASD/SIPC, announced today that John W. Houston has been named managing director of the firm's Financial Institutions Division. Houston has served as national sales manager for the division since 2002.

In his new role, Houston has executive responsibility for the division of RJFS that provides securities brokerage services to over 200 banks and credit unions nationwide.
